hi mary, mark and kids we knew bridget was special but it was her vet that told us just how special she is. dr. bob has been our vet for 35 yrs. and has several miniature horses in his practice. she has it all from her conformation to her personality . bob said that there are alot of mean spirited minis out there and alot of poorly bred ones as well. he wants to bring his 18month grandson to see her. everyone that meets her can't help but smile,. we are madly in love with her, she may be little but her personality is huge. the pictures we tried to send are from before we clipped her, today the sun is suppose to come out so i'll take some current pictures and mail them to you. everyone else seems to have more pictures of her than we do because we're always holding her. our neighbors had a memorial day party so we brought her up to visit and everyone dropped whatever they were doing and flocked around her, she had a blast and was quite the show off. i can't tell you how blessed we feel we are to have her in our life. i hope all is well with you and that your enjoying the summer inspite of the rain. debbie and amanda |
Hi Mary, Buster seems to be a very smart dog. During the car ride back home, he complained a little, but when we got on the highway, he stop complaining. He sometimes pees the floor in the kitchen. He knows how to open and close the crate door. He likes his crate that is inside our house, but he doesn’t like the one that is in the car. He really likes to play fight with us. We really love him very much. From, Jasmine Hello Mary, These past two weeks with buster have been very interesting. Buster is one of the smartest dogs I have ever seen. He is so well behaved around other people and out in public. He wasn’t bad at all in the car ride back. He complained a little bit , but most of the time he was sleeping. When he got in the house he was so curious and was constantly exploring. He doesn’t have too many accidents in the house, but for the exception that he loves to chew on stuff. When we are inside he loves to chew on the rug and when we are outside he chews on helicopter seeds(tree seeds). We had already taught him to take the newspaper out of the drive way and deliver it to my mother. He is scared when he meets other dogs though. Whenever we give him new toys he barks at it then flips out. Buster loves his crate and he sometimes goes crazy with the blankets in there, like biting it or throwing it around. His favorite thing to do is to chase the football we toss around. He gets crazy when we play monkey in the middle because he is always in the middle. One thing about him though is he easily gets tired out during noon time. Speaking of sleeping ,at night when we got him the first day he whined a lot ,but now he is totally quiet. His favorite game is to use the tug of rope on him. When he acts up we growl or play fight him to gain his attention. Overall he is the best thing in my life. He is almost like a little brother, but he is a different species. I do have to admit though it has been a lot more tougher around this house with him around. To me buster is like a gift from God. Also he is one awesome dog. From, Joshua Mary words can’t explain the way we feel about our new addition to our family. “Buster” is a high maintenance, but we love him so. We thank you so very much for picking us to be “Buster’s” new family and care taker. Thank you again Ricky & Dianne

Hi Mary- We made it home safe and sound! Charlie is a love! He was great in the car- just a little wiggly but no accidents! He saved those for the kitchen. :) He slept most of the night in his new crate which he seems to love. It's his little den. Thanks again for everything, and we'll continue to update you on his progress! Teri
Hello Mary, Just wanted to give you an update about Trixie. She gets a one mile walk in the morning and a one or two mile walk each day after work - two things she looks forward to almost as much as breakfast & dinner. She weighs 18.5 pounds. Her favorite place is on my lap when I play video poker on the Internet. She likes to watch the screen and see the cards move! She also likes watching television but we only let her watch cartoons. I've never had a dog that liked to watch television. It's amazing. Since she is now six months old, we took her to the vet to get her "fixed"...poor Trixie is probably wondering what's going on and why is she wearing a lampshade..... The vet tells us that Trixie is in tip-top shape. John & Laura
Hi Mary and Mark, Just wanted to let you know that Leverick is doing great. He was introduced to his new brother and sister and they love each other. Thanks for the great care and love you gave him during his first 8 weeks. That care and love will continue for many years to come. He is fitting in and adjusting to his new surroundings just fine. He is now just one of the pack members of our family. I have attached a few photos of Leverick with his new friends. We will send more as he grows. Thanks again Jeff and Amy
Well after one move, a large icestorm and three seperate trips by comcast we finally have internet and wanted to share the last three wonderful months of Peanut being Peanut! He has grown so much in the past couple months, his training is going great and he is completely house trained, knows sit, stay, paw and down lol. He and the lady of the house(Kasey, our roomates dog) had a rough go of it at first as Peanut enjoyed jumping on her face and she enjoyed putting him in his place lol. They have stopped annoying each other and just ignore one another, unless they are outside then thay have a ball playing. Peanut has had a ball becoming one of the pack up here, as we live in the woods on a dead end all our neighbors have dogs and none are on leashes so they all roam together and have a great time. We have learned that not only is he great with other dogs of all sizes but cats and kids are good too! His temperment and attitude have been everything we hoped for and more and we couldnt imagine our lives without him now. We have included some pictures I hope you enjoy and we will definitely keep in touch. Sincerely, Jaime and Sarah

Hi Mary and Mark & family, Charlie is the best and is still doing very well! We just love him to pieces. He is a big hit in the neighborhood and has lots of human and four-legged friends. He's been a joy to socialize and housetraining has been quite manageable. He now barks or knocks at the door to go out. He was good about crating too. Charlie loves to chew, Flossies are his favorite, and jumps in our kiddie pool from time to time to cool off. He's a bundle of energy, but can settle down too. He's cuddled up right next to us on the couch every night. We're so happy with him! I popped on you website to peek at Heidi and Buddy's pics once more. Charlie's starting to look a lot like his dad! A few people, including beagle aficionados we've met, have commented on his beautiful markings. We agree! I wasn't able to view the puppy pick up photos from 5-30. I must not have the program to run the pics. Thanks again for everything, and we'll continue to update you on his progress! Attached are a few pics of Charlie and his best bud, Murphy, my twin sister's wheaten terrier, just 2 weeks younger than Charlie. They're a lot of fun! Have a great summer! Teri
